There are three things everyone loves about San Francisco. Starting with an image that comes to mind when you hear San Francisco which is the cable cars. They were invented in San Francisco in 1873. These cars dominated transportation for 30 years. Now they have become the worldwide symbol for San Fransisco. There are 2 types of cars. The California Street cable cars are maroon and larger.They have open seating on each end and closed in the middle. The powell Street lines are smaller.
