Fall Comes to SF
The weather is changing, the fog is doing things it only does in the fall, and the Giants are hitting home-runs. It doesn’t get much better than this in San Francisco, does it? Well, maybe after you take a look at the few line-ups slated you might think that looking forward to days to come is the best place to focus your attention!Golden Gate Park Book Fair will be held this Sunday (10/24) from 10:00 5:00, and as anyone who has ever been will tell you, this is one great book sale which included vintage, rare, and collectible books as well as free appraisals for anything you may personally own. Admission is free.For a taste of San Francisco at its craziest check out Perry Mann’s 31st Annual Exotic Erotic Ball held at the Craneway Pavilion in Richmond starting at 8pm to 2am. If you have ever known anyone who has ever been, it’s a great adult emphasis on adult time since it’s an annual celebration of flesh, fetish, and fantasy. Not for the faint of heart, but truly an event to be enjoyed with over 50 live performances. They’re expected a full moon so be brave and enjoy!The 28th Annual San Francisco Jazz Festival is still running through November 20 and this weekend’s line-up includes Yusef Lateef, Gretchen Parlato, Taj Mahal, and Jon Jang at various venues like the Swedish American Hall and the Paramount Theater. If you miss this weekend’s line up make sure you shoot for another before the fun comes to an end in November.
