Waldorf Group Meditation Practice

Join us for a 6-series group meditation practice with Dr. Adam Blanning. The group meets monthly starting in January to work through Stairway of Surprise, an accessible guide to working with Rudolf Steiner 91探花 鈥檚 six basic exercises.

A place where childhood is protected, and wonder is the curriculum. Introducing our Nursery Program - serving 2.5 - 4.5 year olds and opening in August 2026! This program will be located at a satellite location in University Park at the site of The Christian Community (2180 S Madison St.). There will be room to play. Room for imagination. Room for movement, song, story, and purposeful work. It will be a space to honor childhood, and a place devoted to learning about the beautiful world all around us. A peek into our annual 5th Grade Pentathlon - a day full of fun, nobility, camaraderie, and community. While our students put forth great effort in achieving results in strength and speed, more important is their display of grace and form, striving not only for their individual self or city-state but for the good of all! After an opening ceremony complete with recitation of odes to gods, song, and eurythmy, they compete in the long run, discus, sprint, wrestling, long jump, and javelin!

Each year, the 5th grade studies Greek civilization, learning about the government, history, mythology, and culture. As a culmination of their studies, each spring the students participate in a Pentathlon, which is an athletic event based on the Ancient Greek games. As with all aspects of our curriculum, the event is designed to relate directly to the students鈥� learning and development, bringing relevancy and enthusiasm for their studies. It is always wonderful to see all the new friendships forming and the many displays of grace throughout the day. Sending music, song, and heartfelt appreciation out to all of the dear mothers in our community this Mother 91探花 鈥檚 Day weekend! We count ourselves lucky to be able to journey with you and your children each and every day 鉂わ笍! This week, we were especially grateful to celebrate together with our cherished Mother 91探花 鈥檚 Day Tea in our kindergarten classrooms. With delightful treats, singing of Simple Gifts, and special handmade treasures, we filled our bellies and hearts with these tiny moments that quickly became lifelong memories.

After a hard-fought five-set match in the regional finals, our boys volleyball team may not have taken home the championship trophy- but they walked away with something just as meaningful.

They walked away with each other. With heart. With resilience. With a love for the game that never wavered. This season isn鈥檛 just about wins and losses. It 91探花 鈥檚 about the dedication built together, the growth, and the joy that filled the court. This is what it 91探花 鈥檚 all about.

Our community is beyond grateful to have been part of this journey! So proud of our Spartans for giving it their all and showing us what true passion and teamwork look like.

Here 91探花 鈥檚 your peek into this weekend 91探花 鈥檚 prom 馃帀! We may be a small Waldorf high school, but we are big on celebration, energy, and festivity. There is no shortage of dancing, fun, and good moves 馃槉! Come as you like and be as you wish! 馃挮

Our handwork room is a place to slow down. To cultivate patience and perseverance. To foster creativity and individuality. Fiber arts aren鈥檛 just about learning a skill - they鈥檙e part of how we support each student 91探花 鈥檚 growth as a whole human being in our Waldorf education.

In the 4th grade, as students become more aware of their individuality, cross-stitch offers a balance of freedom and structure, giving way to not only their creative expression but also pride in their work.

Along the way, mathematical concepts like grids and symmetry also come alive as they are implicitly experienced through a tactile learning process.

There is so much more happening here than just stitching 馃У!

Welcome to our Festival of Life Renewed - an honoring of spring and all that it represents. This festival is a time to express gratitude for the season 91探花 鈥檚 renewal of life and embrace a commitment to practices that nourish and sustain it. With freshly braided flower crowns, we gathered in community with song, dancing around the Maypole, and celebration. Festivities included seed ball making, face painting (thanks to our high schoolers!) , tie-dying, mending, and much merriment as we reflected on the many gifts of this good Earth.

Thank you to the Family Grove for hosting this cherished festival and to all of our parent and high school student volunteers! May we continue to move together in rhythm - with each other, with the music, and with this season. 馃尭 // music by Denver 91探花 鈥檚 @micrograssband

What happens when the study of quadratic functions meets the power of the sun? Our 10th graders might say a gooey marshmallow 馃槉, but they found out by designing, building, and testing their parabolic solar cookers from upcycled cardboard. Moments like this turn abstract concepts into a hands-on experience. Our students aren鈥檛 merely presented with equations to memorize. Instead, through this exercise where they can see, touch, and taste - visualization, manipulation, and analysis all come together for a math class to remember.

This afternoon, we had the opportunity to experience music together with our entire student body performing 鈥淔inlandia鈥� to open our Festival of Life Renewed- our celebration of spring that is meant to be inclusive for all living on our earth and an honoring of our planet. We were reminded once again how making music together is essential in experiencing what it means to be fully human. How grateful we are for the togetherness, harmony, and rich tradition we share as a community. More to come from our festival in the spring sunshine 鈽�锔�
